Hundred percent. Our blazers are fully machine-washable, because dry cleaning is so 1990's. Just toss it in, wash on cold, and dry it flat on a clean towel. For best results, add minimal detergent and never use bleach. While our blazers are designed to be wrinkle-free, a quick once-over with a warm iron can keep lapels crisp and provide an exceptionally smooth look. If you just want someone else to deal with it, dry cleaning won't break it, scout's honor.

Before you head out the door into the great unknown, here's a few things to check:

The shoulders: The shoulder seam of the blazer should be positioned right where your arm meets your shoulder, allowing the sleeve to drop in a straight line, without creases or bulging. Too small, and the shoulder pads won't create a crisp line up top. Too long, and the sleeve will bow in.

The back: The rear of your suit should fit close to your back, but not be pulling or wrinkling. This means it's too small. Alternatively, a billowy or loose-fitting back means you've gone too large.

The sleeves: These should hit right at your wrist bone and show a peek of your shirt cuff. You didn't put all that work into coordinating to hide it, right?

Closure: look for the top button to hit around your belly button. When buttoned, you should have room for a fist between the inside of the blazer and your shirt. This provides enough slack to avoid the dreaded "X" from a too-tight fit, but still allows a gentle level of contouring in the midsection.

Length: With your hands at your side, look for your blazer hem to land around your knuckles, or a little bit higher, depending on personal preference.
