Before anything reaches a test lab, it has to earn its place on the workbench. We chase fabrics that do more — and draft silhouettes that hold up to actual, everyday movement, not just a hanger.
We wear it out before you do.
Every fabric goes through accelerated abrasion cycles that simulate months of real use — elbows on desks, bags slung over a shoulder, a seatbelt crossing the same line every day. If it thins or pills early, it doesn't move forward.
Countless washes, then we look again.
Sample garments go through repeated home-laundering cycles before a fabric is approved. We're checking for shrinkage, colorfastness, and whether the collar still sits the way it did on wash one.

It has to move, and come back.
We pull the fabric on the bias and across the grain, measuring how far it stretches and how fully it recovers. A fabric that stays stretched out by Tuesday afternoon doesn't make the cut.
