"I tried on several pairs of the exact same pants in the store and they all fit differently. Noticeable by even others and one pair was dramatically off. The pairs that I ended up buying I am happy with, but my impression is that the manufacturing and quality control is imprecise. Seems less legitimate. Also the zipper is noticeably cheap and one of the seams is stitched badly. Not so noticable because it's on the side. I hope they last me a while though."

Long story short, because external factors such as temperature and humidity can slightly affect the outcomes of how a dye appears on fabric, even if you replicate the formula and dyeing time every time you make a production run, the colors may come out slightly different.
